If you have some pharmacy experience per below, we have a great offer for you.Job Description: The Triage Manager oversees the quality of the triage team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, triage adds patient demographics, receives, verifies, and enters prescription orders into the pharmacy computer application, and processes refill requests. Triage answers telephone calls and serves as liaison with customer healthcare centers. The Triage Managerâ?'s primary responsibility is quality customer service and will work with the team of triage technicians to improve customer care, as well monitor the effectiveness, productivity and accuracy of the department.Education/Certification Requirements: High School diploma or GED. Must be a current Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB). Previous long term care and/or direct pharmacy customer service experience preferred.Other Skills and Knowledge Requirements: Typing / keyboard knowledge. Medical terminology. Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Framework and Docutrack not required, but preferred.
