Position: Rehab Manager – Physical Therapist (TOC-PT) – Full-TimeLocation: PruittHealth Therapy Services servicing Old Captial in Louisville, GAOffering Competitive Salaries and Generous BenefitsJob Description:The Therapy Outcomes Coordinator – PT will direct and manage the day to day clinical operations of the Rehab Department. He/she will provide clinical leadership within the rehab team. He/she is responsible for coordinating the three rehab disciplines, including physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology staff. He/she will provide quality patient care and maintain effective communications with facility staff, patients, families, and management. He/she will monitor, enhance and expand the rehabilitation programs within the healthcare center.Essential Skill/Knowledge Functions:Assures that quality care is provided in all rehabilitation disciplines in facilities as assigned.Defines short and long-term goals and objectives of the Rehabilitation Department, consistent with company and facility goals and objectives, with input from the Regional Director.Acts as a liaison for the rehabilitation disciplines with the Regional Rehab Director and facility administration.Actively markets the Rehab Department services to physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, community organizations, home health agencies and other appropriate organizations, under the direction of Regional Rehab Director in conjunction with center administration.Communicates and coordinates frequently with the Regional Rehab Director and facility Administrator.Oversees all services and operations of the Rehab Department.In collaboration with the Regional Rehab Director, determines appropriate responses to Medicare denials.Actively participates in the company and facility Quality Assurance Programs.Makes recommendations to the Regional Rehab Director regarding hiring, promoting, and terminating staff.Identifies the need for rehabilitation equipment to the Regional Rehab Director.Attends or assures representation at facility meetings (i.e. Department Head, Quality Assurance, Patient Care Planning, Medicare meetings, daily stand-ups).Responsible for overseeing that all weekly and end of month reports, documentation, and other required reports are done accurately and on a timely basis.Implements partner relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-partner relationship and promotes a high level of partner morale.Keeps supervisor informed of daily activities and issues.Proposes solutions to all issues.Gets along with co-workers;
